Dr. Prem C. Chatpar
BOARD CERTIFIED RHEUMATOLOGIST
Dr. Prem Chatpar is a Board-Certified Rheumatology specialist in Plainview and Garden City, New York. He has over 35 years of experience and is affiliated with several Hospitals and Medical centers, service as Chief of Division of Rheumatology – Plainview Hospital Northwell Health System.
Dr. Chatpar graduated in from NYU School of Medicine, following training with his residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital & Medical Center and fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Campus/HSS. He has published several articles related to the care and management of rheumatic diseases.
He is actively involved in supporting his community and The Arthritis Foundation New York. Dr. Chatpar and his practice participates in various programs; with passion and commitment, to strive to make every outcome positive in patients with rheumatic disease. He believes knowledge comes from experience and it is the experience that breeds sound judgment.
As he treats patients with arthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and autoimmune diseases he uses the state of the art techniques in a musculoskeletal center of excellence.
Dr. Zeba Faroqui
RHEUMATOLOGIST
Dr. Zeba Faroqui graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a 7-year combined Bachelor of Science-Doctor of Medicine program.
She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and went on to do her Internal Medicine Residency at the University at Buffalo. She completed her rheumatology fellowship at the Case Western School of Medicine/University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH, where she served as Chief fellow during her final year and earned distinction for the fellow “who best exemplifies the humane values of warmth, compassion and caring for other people.”
Dr. Faroqui is a native of Long Island and is excited to return to her community to help patients. She builds upon a guidelines based approach to rheumatic autoimmune care, focusing on individualizing treatment plans to best suit each patient.
By utilizing both evidenced based research, as well as the latest advances in medicine, Dr. Faroqui aims to provide the best quality of life for her patients.
